Description: This project was made and based off of a children's book. The book consisted of a girl who created dots to make a beautiful art piece. We made a dot using different medias (oil pastels and watercolor). The paper we used was a coffee filter. While using these different medias we focused on if they blended together or not.
Extension Activity: An extension activity for this project could be to gather everyone's dots and hang them up together. after hanging them up together, your class could have a discussion about the different medias that were used and how each of them affected each other. The class could also discuss the idea behind everyone's design.
